Calling for a National Entrepreneurs' Day

Posted by: Mark Marich on June 01, 2010 Source: Policy Dialogue on Entrepreneurship

Have you ever wondered why there isn't a National Entrepreneurs' Day? Then sign the petition that was launched this month by Grasshopper and help support the cause to make this a national day in the United States. This year Entrepreneurs' Day will be November 19, 2010, and is officially part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people. As Grasshopper co-founder and CEO Siamak Taghaddos notes on the Grasshopper blog, there is "...no single day in the U.S....during which we recognize the individual entrepreneur and the ways they've made our country (and world) more innovative, and our economy stronger." So sign the petition and let our president know that you believe there should be an official National Entrepreneurs' Day in the United States.
