Entrepreneurial pulse

After a two week recess, members of Congress are returning to Capitol Hill and there are a handful of hearings to note. The House Committee on Fnancial Services settles in with the second part of a hearing on "legislative proposals to enhance capital formation for small and emerging growth companies." Earlier this month, the committee reviewed seven proposed bills including the "Fostering Innovation Act" and the "Small Company Freedom to Grow Act." Topics covered by other committees include: simplifying state income taxes for mobile workers, SBA-created initiatives and regional strategies for long-term economic growth.
