While members of the House of Representatives have mostly left Capitol Hill for the current district work period, the House Judiciary Committee kicked off a series of field hearings on copyright laws at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse in New York City today. Written copies of opening remarks and testimonies on the issue of the "first sale" doctrine and digital resale are available on the committee website. Meanwhile, the Senate Judiciary Committee looks at the Location Privacy Protection Act of 2014, a bill " to address voluntary location tracking of electronic communications devices and other purposes."
