Entrepreneurial pulse

Members of the House of Representatives are back in Washington this week and there are several committee hearings of interest to followers of the entrepreneurial economy. The Rules Committee will review a couple pieces of legislation on tax issues that have ramifications for entrepreneurs and startups. Meanwhile, things appear very quiet in the Senate. Other topics covered by House committee hearings include: music licensing and media ownership in the digital era, streamlining federally-funded research and the potential impact on small businesses of modernizing the nation's aviation surveillance system.
