Johanna Scott is the Community Manager for Betterment. Previously working on award winning PR and Social Media campaigns for clients in the lifestyle consumer category, she loves the satisfaction that comes from working at a startup. Johanna heads up Betterment’s content creation and promotion, community engagement, and PR outreach to generate groundswell and media attention, drive site traffic, user acquisition, and shape the voice of the Betterment brand.
Numbers driven and frugal, she's acquired over 12K customers for Betterment at a Cost-Per-Acquisition of less than half of the industry average. A Wharton School graduate with a focus on marketing, Brittany previously managed a wide variety of marketing campaigns for consumer products, healthcare, and non-profit organizations.
