Chicago Product Craftsmanship: Prioritizing for Profit
Funny thing about priorities: they always change. If you've ever had the sudden urge to impale yourself while stuck in a room full of stakeholders arguing about which features to do next, then the June meetup might be for you.
We're going to play with different methods for prioritizing the feature backlog. First, we'll run an Innovation Game (TM) called Buy a Feature. Then we'll try out a bunch of prioritization matrixes and games from product managers & agilists. I'm hoping that feature prioritization can be fun, collaborative, and brief given the right tools.
Bring along your own product roadmap or backlog, or you can practice on our guinea pig project, a student community site.
