Every healthcare entrepreneur needs a business model to get their startup off the ground. But a business model needs to be validated to ensure a startup's success.

Business model validation involves identifying the problem your company proposes to solve and its solution, as well as the target customers. Entrepreneurship expert Steve Blank advises startups to "get out of the building" and validate their business models in the real world.
