Launching and managing the JumpStart Entrepreneurial Network, a network putting entrepreneurs front and center in Northeast Ohio by creating a collaboration between Ohio Third Frontier-funded entrepreneurial support organizations.
Leading the creation of North Coast Angel Fund, Northeast Ohio’s first managed angel fund which has invested in over 17 companies.
Leading the Venture Capital Advisory Task Force to further entrepreneurial investment and success in the region.
Securing over $18 million for the region’s entrepreneurs through successful funding proposals to Ohio Third Frontier.
Finally, as Northeast Ohio’s entrepreneurial landscape continues to transform, JumpStart also collaborates with community and regional leaders through JumpStart Community Advisors to support the startup and development of high-growth new businesses that ultimately increase globally competitive jobs and have a significant and sustainable impact on the economy. As a result of this work, JumpStart was asked to partner with StartUP America and launched JumpStart America to build robust public, private, and philanthropic partnerships in all 50 states to create or accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship programs across the nation.
In everything we do JumpStart focuses on economic inclusion and activities that increase the success of minority and women entrepreneurs in growing high impact companies. This work, which runs broadly across and deeply within the organization, is important, as growing larger scale diverse businesses is an essential part of our economic transformation strategies.
