When President Obama signed the “Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010” (H.R. 4853) on December 17, 2010, among its many provisions, he reauthorized the Research & Experimentation Tax Credit, which is more commonly known as the R&D tax credit.
