A new survey sponsored the City Business Journals Network finds that many small business owners are wary of the economic policies of the new Obama Administration.
The survey was based on interviews with 301 business owners (42% Republicans, 34% Independent, and 16% Democrats) across the US.Of this group, forty-three percent noted that they are less optimistic about the economy’s prospects since Obama took office. Fifty-nine percent of respondents believe that the Obama Administration doesn’t understand the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. When asked about their biggest concerns, surveyed business owners cited the state of the US economy (77%) and health insurance costs (66%) as their biggest worries.
