Assuming you are one of the few brave DC residents that don't mind braving a snow flurry--and you don't already have lunch plans--head on over to the Hudson Institute today for a luncheon discussion on the effects of race on entrepreneurship.
Robert Fairlie, professor of economics at the University of California (Santa Cruz), will discuss his book, Race and Entrepreneurial Success, in which he examines recent racial disparities in business performance.
Why do Asian-American owned firms perform better than white-owned businesses? Why do African-American owned firms tend to be less successful?
Head over to 1015 15th Street, NW (6th Floor) from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and find out.
