Can Cleantech Put the US Back to Work?

That's the question that will be on everyone's mind at the National Cleantech Open Conference on Thursday, July 22, 2010 in San Jose, California.
Dr. Kristina Johnson, the Under Secretary of Energy, and Ron Gonen, CEO of RecycleBank will keynote the event, discussing the economy, jobs and the role cleantech is playing in bringing our economy back to life.
Also highlighting the list of speakers is Lesa Mitchell, who has been responsible for the Kauffman Foundation’s work on how best to speed the advancement of innovation from universities into the commercial marketplace.
Six panels throughout the day will touch on topics including the new supply chain for electric cars compared with the older supply chain; water as 21st century oil, and how we can make cities truly green while urbanizing our lives.
