The JOBS Act and the History of Crowdfunding

Posted by: Mark Marich on September 17, 2012 Source: Policy Dialogue on Entrepreneurship

Earlier this year, we followed the progress of the JOBS (Jumpstart Our Business Startups) Act as an example of how business should get done in Washington, DC. Fundable, a startup focused on helping other startups acquire capital by crowdfunding, takes a look at the key provisions of the legislation, typical sources of funding and even some interesting milestones in the history of crowdfunding.
