Posted by: Thom Ruhe on August 03, 2009 Source: e360 Blog

The Springfield Business Journal Online adds their observations on why our nation's recent economic woes have led to a rise in entrepreneurship, especially among first-time entrepreneurs.

The Miami Herald details plans at two area colleges offering Certificate of Entrepreneurship programs for those looking to graduate with an Associate's Degree - and a business plan.

Daily Finance, powered by AOL Money & Finance, explores a recent study from Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. which delves into the "remarkable" surge in entrepreneurship among job seekers.  At 8.7%, the number is more than double what it was only a year ago.
