JumpStart Inc. is a non-profit organization that would attract startup money for regional entrepreneurs. Since JumpStart Inc.'s creation, it has funded more than 47 successful startups.
The Minnesota legislature recently approved the creation of a statewide angel investment tax credit program, giving non-profits like BioBusiness Alliance if Minnesota a reason to celebrate.
Successful startups are starting to take a more holistic approach in serving the niche markets and finding success by staying focused on the more narrow market segments.
