Entrepreneurship News Roundup: Week of 5/28/2010

Posted by: Thom Ruhe on May 28, 2010 Source: e360 Blog

Uncovered in the Kauffman’s Index of Entrepreneurial Activity report we saw that entrepreneurial growth was the highest among 35- to 44-year olds in 2009. Many of these small businesses were launched due to the loss of income opportunities.

Also this week the introduction of, “Who Owns the Icehouse?” rolled out. The Icehouse is a two-part online learning initiative designed to immerse students in the eight essential life-lessons of the entrepreneurial mindset described in the book. Do you have an entrepreneurial story that will help inspire future entrepreneurs? If so, please share your story with us.

It makes a lot of sense really...its how a lot of people I know have gotten into becoming an entrepreneur...by necessity.

I only hope all these people who are still looking for a stable way to support themselves financially come across the right information and guidance...it makes the world of difference...and there are so many out there providing misinformation!

I can't help it...I have an entrepreneurial spirit! Regardless of the times I find myself coming up with new ways to stay ahead. It's a life of excitement... but at the same time takes financial understanding, that's why 9 of 10 businesses fail.
