The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation launched a partnership with The Huffington Post's "Small Business America" entrepreneurship blog today by posting the first of what will be regular columns written by the Foundation's economic and entrepreneurship experts.
The inaugural column posted today, written by Kauffman Foundation President and CEO Carl J. Schramm, describes the importance of government providing broad and substantial support for new firm creation -- because most new jobs in America are created by businesses less than five years old. He also sets the stage for what will be twice-monthly Kauffman contributions to the entrepreneurship blog, featuring insights, research and news related to entrepreneurship written by the Foundation's leadership.
The entrepreneurship column is located here.
