Startup Weekend is a high energy marathon of pitching, creating, and business modelling. The weekend starts on Friday night with about a 120 entrepreneurs who pitch their idea, the best pitches are selected and you form teams around these ideas with designers, developers and business experts. The next 48 hours are spend working, concepting, and creating to eventually present your new business to an expert jury.

Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations.

We're taking 50 New England entrepreneurs on a road trip to attend The International Startup Festival (and if there's enough interest, Startup Weekend: Montreal)! Even better, four ventures will have space in a Boston-focused tent at the Festival to feature their products!
