Let's be honest, ever since you bought your new tablet/ultrabook you haven't touched your netbook. Well dig it out of the closet and dust it off, because it can be put to use to help the kids of 21st Century Youth Project (http://21cyp.com/) learn to code. One of the biggest issues the program faces is ensuring that students have access to usable technology and netbooks are perfect to this end!
FreeGeek Chicago (http://freegeekchicago.org/) and 21st CYP students, mentors, and volunteers will be on site all day to help wipe all personal information from each netbook - all you have to do is bring it down! FreeGeek Chicago will also be accepting donations of any and all computers, peripherals, and computer related products as well. Please note: Donated laptops will also go to FreeGeek unless otherwise specified. All netbooks will go to 21CYP.
PLUS, we will make sure to give you receipt crediting your donation for end of the year tax purposes. Everybody wins!
