North of 41 invites you to come out and hear insights from a panel of some of Canada's Top Entrepreneurs in the Digital, Mobile and Social Media space. Learn how they all got started, launched lean and were able to maneuver through the daily ups and downs of being a tech entrepreneur.
Our panelists will tell their stories of how they have grown their businesses not only in Canada but beyond Canada's borders. There will be drinks and networking following the panel discussion.

Moderator: Shana Korotash KPMG
Shana is the National Senior Marketing Manager, Technology Media and Telecommunications for KPMG. She is one of the team leaders at KPMG that help to engage entrepreneurs in the digital, mobile and social media space. Shana has had a distinguished career in the marketing and communications industry. In her sparetime, she volunteers on numerous boards and local charitable organizations.
Panelist: Katherine Hague Co-Founder: Shoplocket
Katherine has worked as an independent digital media consultant, Shopify Theme Developer, and in a variety of marketing positions for Toronto-based startups. In the summer of 2011, as one of the Co-Founders, Katherine launched ShopLocket; a simple platform for anyone to start selling online in minutes.

Julie is the mother of six and a co-founding VP of Mabel’s Labels, the leading provider of labels for the stuff kids lose! Mabel’s Labels has grown from basement start-up into an award winning, celebrity endorsed, international phenomenon. Julie is a syndicated blogger for modernmom.com, PTPA Media, Yummy Mummy Club, and her company’s blog.
Panelist: Monica Mei Founder: The Shop Society
Monica Mei is a simultaneous entrepreneur who loves strategy, synergy and style. Her interest in #FashTech began in late 2010 and she subsequently launched a style-sharing mobile application called WhatImWear.in. Now, she is developing The Shop Society, an enterprise mobile SaaS tool for retailers to empower their sales associates to sell more and better.

Erica Ehm is Founder, Publisher of YummyMummyClub.ca – the online social network that speaks to the woman in every mom. Erica's message is one of empowerment. It was her difficult transition from career woman to exhausted mother that inspired Erica to create an online destination for women with children.
