What is the European Pirate Summit?
Pirate Summit is a two-day event which highlights the entrepreneur in itself. Authorized (invitation-only) pirates will be able get to know fellow pirates, discuss treasure maps, hire the crew and ask for money in an absolutely inspiring atmosphere on board. We’re not politically motivated!
When is the European Pirate Summit?
Pirate Summit is on Monday and Tuesday September 10-11th, 2012 in Cologne (the exact venue is to be announced).
Who can attend?
Pirate Summit is open to all investors and entrepreneurs who have been in the arena (please have a look at “Who’s a pirate?” for definition) looking for new adventure, likeminded people and of course everything else associated with the startup business.
Why should I attend?
There’s no better way to combine adventure, innovation and the world’s influencers in tech in a casual atmosphere at a mind-blowing venue. Watch “Recap 2011″ if you can’t believe it. Btw and all this for a reasonable price!

When do I know if I was chosen for the EPS ’12?
In a positive case you’ll get a code, so you may purchase your ticket. The codes will be shipped in the middle of each month – the first batch mid-May. In September it will happen more regularly. And please keep in mind that a decline has nothing in common with a discrimination of your personality. It is only a way of securing an appropriate process of choosing participants for the European Pirate Summit.
Can I apply for running a workshop or giving a keynote speech?
Of course! If you consider yourself a Pirate and you’ve a killer idea, please contact till@piratesummit.com.
Is it possible to register on event-days?
No – due to a detailed quality pirate-check of every participant, we cannot give you access to the event upon such a short time. We encourage you to apply in advance. The early pirate catches the doubloons.
Is there a dress code at EPS ’12?
Hell yeah! Everyone who show up with a suit and/or tie will be burned together with ze CopyCat Guy!
