About YOU IS NOW
In context of the incubator YOU IS NOW, ImmobilienScout24 has supported founders and young entrepreneurs in the realisation of their business idea since fall 2010.
The participants receive access to the entire ImmobilienScout24 network for a period of twelve months, as well as the 7.5 million monthly users of the portal.
These young entrepreneurs profit from the expertise of ImmobilienScout24 in areas such as online marketing and law and can rely on IT development resources as well as product management capacities.
Promoted are functional topics in new growth areas, such as social, local and mobile media as well as ideas concerning real estate.
Who can attend the YOU IS NOW Weekend?
Individuals from the creative, business and technical industries can attend, and experience a weekend full of networking with other co-founders, project work and a lot of fun.
How is this event different from a Startup Weekend?
We are looking for ideas that fit into the YOU IS NOW incubator and ImmobilienScout24. Ideas should be focused on the topic “rethinking real estate marketplaces”. Everything that is connected with real estate, living and internet is possible. Social, local and mobile products are also welcome.
Some inspiration: Everybody has to live somewhere. How do we find a place to live? How could a better searching process look like? Which areas are good to live in? Who should I rent my apartment to? How do I sell a house? How can results of real estate agents become better? What opportunities do I have if I don’t want to hire an agent? The possibilities are endless…
How will we support you in the creation process?
We will of course help you by providing you with several coaches. Find out about them in our Mentor’s list and get an idea about how you can profit from their expertise and their huge networks. Club Mate, coffee and our catering will help you to increase your creativity and efficiency as well.
Who will announce the winner?
Our jury consists of various experts, e.g. the COO of ImmobilienScout24. Have a look on our list of jury members to get an impression of them.
What can you win?
The first prize will be a 3 month residency at the YOU IS NOW incubator and, of course, the prize cup of the YOU IS NOW Weekend. The scholarship includes a coaching and infrastructure, office space, internet access, coffee etc. .
Where will the YOU IS NOW Weekend take place?
The weekend will take place at the whole ground floor of ImmobilienScout24 right in Berlin Friedrichshain. We have multiple rooms, a food area, drinks and even a shower and places to sleep if you want! All you’ll need is your sleeping bag and your camping mat!
