This event is a production of The Planetary Society at Georgia Tech along with Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS).

The location of this event is Fernbank Science Center, not to be confused with Fernbank Museum of Natural History.

Admission is free to the Center is free, but the optional planetarium show is $7 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.

Yuri's Night 2013 - A Celebration of the First Human Spaceflight

Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight the inaugural launch of NASA’s Space Shuttle.

Come join us at Fernbank Science Center for an evening of socializing and networking, fond remembrance, and imagination. Activities will include a presentation, a planetarium show on Saturn, a visit to the center's observatory and a space trivia contest.

Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
