Audit Response How to Protect Your Revenue through Timely and Accurate Responses
Why Should You Attend:
There are over 10 separate types of audits for healthcare organizations to track and provide information or responses. There is no recourse for a denial /reclamation of funds related to a technical denial or the missing of a deadline. While there has been talk of streamlining the process and setting consistent formats and deadlines for different agencies, this has not happened yet.
This training will discuss the different deadlines and time frames for each auditing agency, the format for submission of information for each entity, the style and information needed for each agency and how to ensure your response reflects what the agency is targeting. The presenter will cover the standards that you need to follow for any response. Lack of presentation could relegate your response to the denial pile, while a clearly organized response could move you more quickly towards a reversal of the denial.
While you as a facility have dates that you need to respond by: the various agencies are also obligated to respond to you in a timely fashion. Being aware of this will also shorten your resolution time frame.
