We are excited to announce our next meetup which will be on 2nd Feb at HackerDojo. Based on your valuable suggestions from the last meetup we are improving our lab material and adding new topics.
The upcoming meetup will include
1. Overview of Hadoop Architecture (HDFS, Namenode, Datanode, JobTracker, TaskTracker)
2. Pre-configured Hadoop Virtual machine
3. Problem identification using real world data
4. Map Reduce Lab
- Understand and execute map reduce program
- Write a Map Reduce program in java
5. Hive Lab
6. PIG Lab
7. HBase Lab
8. Configuring Two Node cluster
This is going to be a 3 hr meetup limited to first 30 participants with focus mainly on hands on lab.
Snacks and coffee will be served.
