ABOUT THIS CLASS SERIES

Have an idea, but not sure if you can make a business out of it? Have an idea, but want to refine it? Need help with creating, reviewing or evaluating an idea?

This process has been called “Ideation.” Often people think they need just one great business idea and this idea will cover them in a “flash of genius.” While this can be true, more often than not, good business ideas get developed, molded, and improved over time.

Over four sessions, this class series focuses on the idea generation process, generating creative new ideas, and turning entrepreneurial ideas into businesses. It will also review tools for evaluating business ideas. Both product and service ideas will be discussed, as well as how to transform an idea or invention into an economically viable innovation and business.

Thursday, 7 February, 6 – 7:30 pm

Session IV

Reviewing the ideal customers exercise from previous session, this session will continue to cover the process and tools to evaluate business ideas, and focus on the process of revising and improving your business ideas.

Focusing on the process of turning entrepreneurial idea into a business (the ability to pivot and improve your idea is a critical skill in this process), students will be provided with a template to use on evaluation of their ideal idea.

PREREQS & PREPARATION
