* LiveWorkLaunchDetroit will be hosting a pitch competition for innovation based businesses that are looking for investment capital. Prizes include $10,000 in cash and a variety of key amenities and services, in addition to presenting in front of angel investors and venture capitalists. All qualified applicants will also receive a “Doing it in Detroit Resource Directory” that will feature key opportunities and special promotions for LiveWorkLaunchDetroit applicants. The MEDC expressly reserves the right, but not the obligation, to exclude or remove any registrant or participant from this or any MEDC event that the MEDC staff in their opinion deem to be detrimental, be disruptive, appear to be impaired, or otherwise interfere with other registrants or participants. In such event the excluded or removed person shall not be entitled to any refund of any fees paid or to alternate transportation.
