Startup Weekend: Sensored! brings together entrepreneurs to go from idea to prototype in just 54 hours! Beginning Friday evening, individuals pitch ideas and teams form around those ideas; since this event is all about sensors, we'll focus on concepts that use the sensors in mobile devices like laptops, phones, and tablets. For example, an iPhone 5 includes sensors for ambient light, proximity, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and many more. Clever teams may even figure out how to use something not typically considered a sensor, like the speaker, the microphone, etc.
Not a developer, or don't know anything about hardware? No problem! You're sure to have something to contribute - plus, there are plenty of great resources online to help you understand where to get started with your idea, and many free tools to help you along the way. With these ideas and tools as foundation, teams will work to create business models, design products, and perform market validation, before coming together on Sunday, February 10th to show off their work to our panel of judges! Winners will be chosen, prizes will be awarded, and fun will be had by all!

FRIDAY: Pitch your idea and join forces at NERD, form a team, and get to work!
SATURDAY: Come back to NERD, meet with mentors, collaborate and innovate, and work, work, work!
SUNDAY: Bring your "A-Game". Put the finishing touches on your products, prepare your presentations and demos, and get ready to celebrate success at the after party!
