Searching for Startups: VeloCity Startup Recruiting Event

Join us for the first VeloCity Startup Recruiting Event February 26th, 2013! The deadline is February 12th for Startup companies to register for booth space, so sign up now! If you’re a student and attending sign up to ensure your spot at this amazing event! There are five Raspberry Pi’s to be won for lucky registrants attending the events as well as a grand prize of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT 2.0.
If you’re a startup looking for great talent it’s as easy as: register, set up a booth and meet Waterloo’s co-op and recent grad tech talent. Find the right people to help your startup grow. If you’re a uWaterloo student, Laurier student or recent grad, just show up to the event to check out the hottest startups around!
The VeloCity Startup Recruitment Event costs $200 for startups, and is FREE for students. It’s open to all startup employers, students and recent grads looking to work with cutting edge tech startups.
To qualify for a booth:
Your startup must be less than 5 years old
Your startup must have fewer than 20 employees
Your startup must have less than $500k in annual revenue
Your startup must not be a provider of gambling/adult/illegal services
Your startup should be tech related

When: February 26, 2013 | 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cost: $200 for startups, free for students
