BRING YOUR LUNCH! We are 'brown-bagging' it up... old school-style. Don't forget your snack-pack.

INTRODUCTION TO YOUR LUNCH & LEARN:

Idea to Shelf, "Fake it till you make it."

Exploring ideas on taking products from their idea form, to prototype, and eventually landing them on the shelf where the market takes over. Perfection is something you'll chase forever but you can never perfect something people have never purchased. Fake it till you make it.

INTRODUCTION TO YOUR SPEAKER(S):

Benjamin Gott, Start Garden

Ben is a bit of a renaissance man. His past in web development turned him into an entrepreneur focusing on creative design. Ben’s projects include Boxed Water Is Better, TheCommon.org, THE BRILLIANCE, the clothing line BENJAMINEDGAR, and an assortment of small experimental projects. His work has a theme of understated elegance combined with design that both reflect his personality and way of thinking. As Start Garden’s Entrepreneur in Residence, he brings his acute sensibility to find things the world wasn’t aware it was missing. You can find Ben most nights cycling around downtown Grand Rapids grabbing drinks with friends.
