Are you a motivated attorney or law student who wants to go in-house? Want to know what it's like to work as a lawyer at a startup? The goal of this panel is to give you the inside scoop on how to go about getting the title of general counsel at a startup.
Panelists:
Craig Abruzzo is the General Counsel of Birchbox. He was previously the Senior Director of Yahoo's Contributor Network, following Yahoo's acquisition of Associated Content, for which he served as General Counsel and VP of Corporate Development. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School.
Nithya Das acts as Legal Counsel for AppNexus. She was previously an associate at Goodwin Procter in their tech companies practice area. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School.
Mark Silverstein acts as Legal Counsel for Spotify. He was previously associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore and clerked for Chief Judge Anthony Scirica on the US Court of Appeals. He graduated from UPenn Law School.
Benjamin Singer is the Associate General Counsel of Gilt Groupe. Before joining Gilt Groupe, he worked for Wilson Sonsini and for Kirkland & Ellis. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.
