We have a very great news. This time we will have two international guests, game developer guys from Sweden.
MuchDifferent is an unconventional middleware company with its heart in Uppsala, Sweden. The people behind this name are passionate overachievers who together build innovative technologies used by a broad spectrum of companies, from indies to very large players of the gaming industry. Today, despite the fact that MuchDifferent gathers people from Belgium to Korea, it remains a non-profit organization, driven solely by the spirit and creativity of its members. Our second guest, well not guest really, because he is TechHub Riga Resident member actually, Dainis Graveris about 1stWebDesigner. It is a popular web design blog reaching close to 2 million unique visitors each month, while being only 4 years old project. Site founder Dainis is from Latvia and in this presentation, he will share his experiences when he started from scratch, but even more importantly talk how Startups can leverage from blog presence. Do you want more visitors, more signups and become well known in your industry? Time is luxury, do you want to know how to build effective blog without wasting any time? If to any of those questions you answered with - yes, then you should attend this presentation.
TechHub Talent Pitch - our new tradition, the opportunity for startups to pitch for talent. Startups can apply to get 2 minutes to talk about their company, who they are looking for and why they should join. Those looking for startup jobs, founders looking for co-founders, all are welcome. If you want to pitch for talent, you have to apply to [masked] and send two pages in PDF, one summarizing your startup, the second who you are looking for. Deadline is 6PM on Jan 9th. TechHub members have priority to pitch for talent if we have too many requests!
And of course there is going to be a pitch session. So prepare your 3 minute pitches!
