Baltic Triangle Area Showcase
- Continuing Success (A panel discussion)
The Baltic Triangle is an encampment of creative people, entrepreneurs and their combined businesses who’s creative, industrious and pioneering vision will build a creative community to underwrite the city’s reputation as a distinguished metropolis of culture.
Join us as we celebrate the successes of the first year of the area’s Baltic Triangle CIC as the neighbourhood continues to grow from strength to creative strength.
Since its formation in 2012 the Baltic Triangle CIC has seen over 50 businesses locate themselves within the area, alongside a further two events and recreational venues opening to provide the growing business and resident population with a welcome space to meet and socialise.
The continued growth and success of the area from a strategic planning perspective has seen the Baltic Triangle recognised as a one of eight ‘distinctive neighbourhood’s’ in the city’s Strategic Planning Framework 2012. Demonstrating the area’s potential for change and in particular its unique identity and energy, which is set to appeal to a increasing numbers of new residents.
This event will become a proud addition to the city's Accelerate 2013, a precursor to Liverpool Vision's International Festival of Business in 2014.
Bringing together key figures involved with the development of the Baltic Triangle area. The 'In Conversation' style event will offer a broad perspective of what the future holds for the neighbourhood.
Focusing on the development of the work, live, study and visit opportunities in the area. The discussion will demonstrate the collaborative approach the businesses are adopting to see the area develop in line with the Baltic Triangle's vision manifesto.
Hosted by the engaging Paul Corcoran (Agent Marketing) with representatives from Plus Dane, North Liverpool Academy, Liverpool Vision, Deloitte and Baltic Stakeholders group.
The event will take place at Camp and Furnace with their signature street food and drink provided.
The final section of our celebrations features our keynote speaker Oliver Schulz, who will offer an international perspective on the development of the area and offer some inspiration for the next phase of progress. There will then be a chance for some networking and a few games of ping-pong.
