You’re invited to the digitalundivided's first monthly GROW SF-Bay meetup, hosted by Google.
Join us for a panel discussion with black women tech super stars who have successfully made the transition from corporate life to high-growth startups.
We’ll learn about the challenges: dealing with reduced income, career path uncertainty, family challenges and developing products in a rapid product cycle.
We’ll also discuss the rewards of startup life: working on your passion, ability to control your life, and the joy of personal ownership. This will be a great conversation for those considering joining or founding a startup, as well as anyone interested in how corporate skills translate to startup environments.
The event is hosted by digitalundivided, a social enterprise that is increasing the number of Black women digital entrepreneurs.
Panelists:
Stacy Brown-Philpot, COO of TaskRabbit (formerly of Google Ventures)
Kimberly Bryant, Founder of Black Girls Code (formerly of Genetech)
Moderator:
Kathryn Finney, Founder of digitalundivided
Local Hosts:
Sian Morson, Founder and CEO of Kollective Mobile, @xianamoy
