The TAG-Ed North Atlanta Internship Expo will introduce companies to internship opportunities within metro-Atlanta. Company representatives can meet with internship coordinators from local universities, educational programs, and high schools to learn more about how to engage with students to improve workforce readiness.

Potential STEM Champions are invited to attend TAG-Ed's first Student Internship Expo!
The Intern Expo is a free event that will bring a variety of intern programs together for companies to learn more about the student internship programs. In addition to exhibition booths showcasing many of the internship programs available in metro Atlanta, a panel of previous host companies and students from TAG-Ed's Summer Internship Program will share their experiences and lead a discussion on best practices.
By 2018, Georgia will need to fill 211,000 technology jobs, so it is crucial to better prepare our students in STEM fields.
Please note: This event is not intended for students.
What is a STEM Champion?
We are looking for a contact within each TAG premier company who can help promote STEM education volunteer needs within his/her organization.
STEM Champions provide the following assistance:
Publicize volunteer activities within your company
Identify STEM speakers and coordinate site visits
Address and coordinate field trip requests
Assist in TAG-Ed Summer Internship placements
Identify mentors for career days at local schools
FOR PARTICIPATING INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS:
Join a showcase of high school and post-secondary internship programs in Georgia!
You are allowed 2-4 people per booth, and we highly encourage bringing student ambassadors from your programs to speak about their experiences. Additionally, you may invite the companies presently involved in your programs to the event.
