AIGA Interactive Design Panel Discussion
Everybody, rock your body right—Design Week’s back, all right!
Yeah, we went there. But we’re just so darn excited to bring you the second annual Baltimore Design Week that we couldn’t help ourselves.
From Sunday, October 20th through Friday, October 25th, we’re celebrating not just design but also 25 years of AIGA in Baltimore! That’s right, our chapter turns 25 this October, and what better way to acknowledge it than a week of fun-filled events? Check them out below and join the party!

Charm City Type Race
Our kick-off event is exactly what it sounds like: a race through Baltimore to collect a specific set of characters before everyone else does. Use your smartphone or tablet to Instagram your findings as you race through the city. Bike, run, walk, roll, cartwheel, hop, skip, jump, or crabwalk, the choice is yours—as long as it’s human-powered!
Get some friends together, or bring the family, and take a journey through the heart of the city, hunting for typography you may never have noticed before. Your afternoon will begin at Race Pace Bicycles in Locust Point and end with a post-race get-together at Moonshine Tavern in Canton. We’ll announce the winners in various categories, including fastest completion time, most creative set of letters, and best costumes, along with featuring a slideshow of our favorite photos of the day.
