What is Springboard Atlantic?
Springboard provides resources to Atlantic Canadian universities and colleges to help them transfer knowledge and technology to our region's private sector. Our network members are from thirteen of the universities in Atlantic Canada and the five community colleges.
Springboard’s network members work to connect publicly-funded research with industry experts through a range of programs and services. Springboard also connects skilled professionals in academia and industry to create new collaborations.
Springboard supports research commercialization in Atlantic Canada.
Springboard receives core support from its members and from the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

SpringBoard West Innovations Inc. - Business support organisation for technology-based companies
Founded in 2007, SpringBoard West Innovations (SBWI) is Saskatchewan’s leader in helping companies accelerate the transformation of innovative ideas into commercial reality. Drawing on the expertise of advisors and researchers with years of experience in business, SBWI provides services for companies at every stage of their formation and development. Programs include Venture Runways, WheelsUP and other commercialization services including one-on-one counseling to assist entrepreneurs to build a business around a technology-based idea.
Springboard Enterprises - VC accelerator for women in business
Springboard 2000 Enterprises, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating women entrepreneurs' access to the equity markets. Springboard Enterprises educates, sources, coaches, showcases and supports high growth companies seeking equity capital for expansion. Programs include forums and educational programs to help support women in networking and securing VC funding for their businesses, and the Dolphin Tank – a pitch practice program to help presenters improve their business opportunity for funding.
