By night she’s in adamant analog mode and volunteers her time towards local storytelling initiatives like Rain City Chronicles and A Good Book Drive.
Ambrosia Humphrey, VP Talent - HootSuite
As VP of Talent, Ambrosia heads up HootSuite’s people management strategies globally. Joining the company in 2010, her start up, operations, and international experience provide invaluable assets to driving hypergrowth across the organization. Over the past two years she has scaled HootSuite from 20 to over 300 employees in 11 countries as well as to recognition as BC Business Magazine’s Top Employer of 2012. Ambrosia is committed to modernizing the HR function, with her work the Social HR frontier leading to a recent nomination
for YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award. She has managed teams in North America and Europe; developing top talent, top employers, and innovative operational practices for the past 10 years.
Ambrosia works with many local non-profit foundations and is the co-founderof children’s music initiative Sing it Fwd. She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, has motorcycled across three continents, and is a general enabler of
Alanna Fiedler, Project Coordinator - BrightKit
Alanna has spent the last 5 months at a growing technology company called Brightkit as their Project Coordinator. In this role she wears many hats from Project Management, Account Management to Bookkeeping. She is the hub between Clients, the Sales Team and the Software Developers. This role is all about communication and positively influencing all stakeholders.
Before joining Brightkit Alanna spent 2 years as a Sales Recruiter. She has completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at BCIT and a Diploma in Business Management. She has had the opportunity to travel in South East Asia, Central America and Europe and had some unique jobs along the way.
