FriendsLearn was founded by Bhargav Sri Prakash to deliver rich educational content through the social platform. The company is focused on maximizing learning impact through compelling 3D real-time games that allow users to play with each other, while learning from shared experiences.
FriendsLearn has been founded to build on the previous successes of Vmerse through patented technologies that have been delivered by a proven management and development team. Vmerse created highly successful 3D multiplayer games to help universities recruit students. FriendsLearn will deliver education directly to consumers on the social platform—Facebook and mobile devices. Recently, the company won a contract from the U.S. Department of State's EducationUSA to develop a social 3D game that engages millions of international students who are interested in studying in the United States.
Bhargav founded his first company— CADcorporation—as a graduate student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor to commercialize his research interest in computer simulation, and went on to innovate patented game-based technologies for the higher education market. CADcorporation delivered simulation services to a range of clients, such as General Motors, Barton Malow, C. S. Mott Children's and Women's Hospital, Ross School of Business, and the University of Michigan. He has been an invited speaker at several professional and academic forums such as the Annual Conference of the Law School Admissions Council, University of Michigan Center for Educational Outreach, Ross School of Business, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Association of International Educators (NAFSA), and Confederation of Indian Industry. He has founded other successful businesses as well. Bhargav draws from his experiences as a competitive tennis player. He had a career-high Indian national ranking of three and played tournaments on the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) Tour.
