Persistence Plus offers colleges and universities a powerful solution to increase their ability to transform young adults into thriving students and ultimately successful college graduates. We are developing a mobile platform that applies cutting-edge behavioral research to foster the specific student behaviors and mindsets that lead to college persistence, completion, and life success. Our mission is to help all students develop the skills and attitudes needed to achieve a college diploma and reach their potential.

Jill Frankfort was most recently a program director at Jobs for the Future, where she worked to create and scale districts and schools where all students achieve college success. With more than ten years of experience as a strategy consultant and education professional, Jill possesses a deep knowledge of the education sector as well as product development and marketing expertise. Previously, Jill advised Fortune 1000 clients at Simon-Kucher & Partners, and served as a strategy and marketing manager at Idealab, supporting early stage companies. She received a BA with honors from Brown University and a M.Ed. from Wake Forest University. Jill also is the author of 100 Paid Summer Adventures for Teachers.

Dr. Kenneth Salim was most recently the senior director of the Chief Academic Office at Boston Public Schools, where he led and implemented district-wide academic initiatives for more than 55,000 students. Kenneth's areas of expertise include college readiness, education innovation, school district reform, and professional learning. Previously, Kenneth served as a classroom teacher, the district's director of New Teacher Support, and a Boston College faculty member. Kenneth also is president-elect of Learning Forward, the leading international association for professional development. The first member of his family to graduate from college, Kenneth earned a BA at Brown University and received his doctorate from Harvard University's Urban Superintendents Program.
