A Business Guide to Federal Export Assistance
Exporting Regulations and Policies stated by the Department of Agriculture
The Country Commercial Guide presents a comprehensive look at the commercial environment in many countries throughout the world. It reviews economic and political conditions and trends, identifies commercial opportunities for U.S. exports and investment, and reviews the overall investment climate in each country. Key sections include a listing of best prospects, in-depth information about doing business in Israel and an economic roundup. In conjunction with the U.S. Commercial Service, several other U.S. Government agencies contribute to information contained in this comprehensive report.
On May 12, 2006, an official opening ceremony commenced the work of the Kyrgyz-American Center for Entrepreneurship Studies (KACES) at the Osh Technological University. The center is the first business training school in the Kyrgyz Republic that is affiliated with an institution of higher education. The center will help to improve the business environment in Osh by providing current and aspiring entrepreneurs with access to much needed practical training and materials. It is also expected to foster greater penetration of business and entrepreneurship curriculum into higher education. Moreover, the center is planning to work closely with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy to develop curricula changes that will encourage universities to adopt hands-on case study methods of teaching.

The Guide is issued by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (A/SDBU). The Guide includes: procurement program and acquisition policy, points of contacts, potential subcontracting opportunities, listing of all Federal Officers of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.
FedBizOpps.gov is the single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities over $25,000. Government buyers are able to publicize their business opportunities by posting information directly to FedBizOpps via the Internet. Through one portal - FedBizOpps (FBO) - commercial vendors seeking Federal markets for their products and services can search, monitor and retrieve opportunities solicited by the entire Federal contracting community.
