The new employment statistics are out from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and it doesn't look any better than the previous months. Looking at the bottom line, unemployment remained "essentially unchanged" for the month of May at 9.1 percent (13.9 million people). The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation announced today that it will award up to 15 Dissertation Fellowship grants of $20,000 each to Ph.D., D.B.A. or other doctoral students for the support of dissertations in the area of entrepreneurship. The competitive program is open to students seeking doctoral degrees from accredited U.S. institutions of higher education.
