As the Chief Strategy Officer, Tien Tzuo brings to Salesforce.com over 16 years of experience in the enterprise software industry. Since he joined the company in 1999, Tzuo has been responsible for setting the vision, strategy, direction and design of Salesforce.com's award winning product line, including overseeing the launch of Salesforce, Supportforce, Customforce, Sforce, and Wireless Edition. In 2004, Tzuo was named CMO of the Year Finalist by the CMO Council and BusinessWeek Magazine. Janice Roberts taps her vast experience as a global communications executive and a veteran early-stage entrepreneur to focus on Mayfield's investments in networking components and systems, mobile communications and consumer-oriented companies. Janice serves on the boards of companies including Quickoffice, Pixim, PlayFirst, RAZZ, Sennari, SunRocket, and Ubicom. Janice's notable investments include Convedia (acquired by RadiSys); Mobile 365 (signed definitive agreement to be acquired by Sybase); and Peribit Networks (acquired by Juniper Networks). Prior to joining Mayfield, Janice built a successful early-stage investment portfolio as president of 3Com Ventures. She also led 3Com's global marketing and business development operation and ran a number of the company's new business initiatives, including the highly successful Palm Computing subsidiary. Previously, Janice was managing director and president of BICC Data Networks LTD., which was acquired by 3Com in 1992. Janice holds an honors degree in commerce (economics and finance) from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She serves on the advisory board of the INSEAD Business School U.S. Council and supports the Entrepreneurs Foundation and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.

As General Manager of Electronic Arts Redwood Shores Studio, Nick Earl is responsible for the management of EA's Redwood Shores and Maxis studio operations. This includes overseeing programming, artwork, audio, research and development, quality assurance and strategy for top EA GAMES franchises as well as EA SPORTS franchises including: The Godfather, The Lord of The Rings, James Bond, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, and the highly- acclaimed Sims franchise, as well as new titles under development. Prior to his current position, Nick was Chief Operating Officer of the Redwood Shores Studio, responsible for day-to-day operations of the studio at corporate headquarters. Chris Larsen is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Prosper. For over a decade Chris Larsen has focused on using the Internet to make consumer lending more efficient, fair, honest, open, and trustworthy. Prior to Prosper, Mr. Larsen co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of E-LOAN. Under Mr. Larsen's leadership, E-LOAN closed over $27 billion in consumer loans, and was consistently ranked as one of the nation's most trusted consumer brands. E-LOAN earned consumers' trust by taking radically pro-consumer actions such as being the first company to provide consumers with access to their credit scores, and playing a critical role in the passage of the strongest consumer financial privacy protection law in the nation. Mr. Larsen led E-LOAN through a successful IPO in 1999, and oversaw the company's acquisition by Popular, Inc. in 2005. Mr. Larsen holds an M.B.A. degree from Stanford University and a B.S. degree from San Francisco State University, where he was named the 2004 Alumnus of the Year.

Joe McCracken is Vice President of Business Development at Genentech, Inc. Wallace brings 17 years of experience at KLA-Tencor to his current role, and has held a variety of senior management positions at KLA-Tencor. He previously served as CEO and COO for Warner Custom Music, a division of Time Warner, Inc. Ballard was also president of Capcom Software, the U.S. subsidiary known for hits such as Street Fighter, Mega-Man and Resident Evil, as well as COO and CFO of Digital Pictures, a leading video game developer for Sega CD. In recent years Ballard has served on the board of directors for xFire, an online gaming platform and community purchased by Viacom in April 2006, and on the public boards of THQ (NASDAQ: THQI), Pinnacle Systems and IGN. KATHLEEN M. EISENHARDT is Professor of Strategy and Organization at Stanford University. She is widely known for her work on strategy, strategic decision making, and innovation in rapidly changing and highly competitive markets. She is the coauthor (with Shona L. Brown) of the book Competing on the Edge: Strategy as Structured Chaos, published by Harvard Business School Press. Using analogies from The Grateful Dead to the Tour de France and scientific underpinnings from complexity and time-paced evolutionary theories, this book describes how to compete successfully in dynamic markets. Professor Eisenhardt's current research centers on collaboration and competition in the converging computing, telecommunications, and semiconductor industries, from the perspectives of complexity, evolutionary and game theories. For her past research on fast strategic decision making, she won the Pacific Telesis Foundation Award. She has also received the Whittemore Prize (with D. Charles Galunic) for her writing on organizing global corporations in high velocity markets, and the Stern Award (with Claudia B. Schoonhoven) for her work on the formation of strategic alliances in entrepreneurial companies. She was Co-Principal Investigator on the Global Electronics Study for Andersen Consulting. At Stanford, Professor Eisenhardt has received several teaching awards including selection as one of the Top 8 Professors at Stanford and her course has been selected by students as one of the top 10 at the University. She also serves as the Associate Director of the Stanford Computer Industry Project (SCIP). Tina Seelig is the Executive Director for the Stanford Technology Ventures Program where she is responsible for the management, operations, and dissemination efforts of STVP. In addition, Tina is the Director of the Stanford Entrepreneurship Network and the co-Director of the Mayfield Fellows Program. Tina also teaches a course in the Department of Management Science & Engineering on Creativity and Innovation. Prior to joining STVP, Tina worked as an entrepreneur, management consultant, author, and scientist. Tina received her Ph.D. from Stanford University Medical School in 1985 where she studied Neuroscience. Tina has worked as management consultant for Booz, Allen, and Hamilton, has written several popular science books and has designed a series of educational games. Her books include The Epicurean Laboratory, Incredible Edible Science, and a series called Games for Your Brain. After Tina's first book was published in 1991, she became interested in how books are marketed. This led her to start a company designed to help match books with buyers. The product was a multimedia system for bookstore customers, called BookBrowser. BookBrowser was a kiosk-based system that allowed customers to identify books of interest. With the help of a team of engineers and graphic designers, Tina built the business and sold the company in 1993. After selling her business, Tina worked as a Multimedia Producer for Compaq Computer Corporation. In this position Tina led a team of engineers, artists, scriptwriters, and education specialists through the design and implementation of a series of multimedia titles. Tina's current position as Executive Director of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program takes advantage of her technical background, in addition to her experiences as a manager, entrepreneur, and educator.
