A recent report from the Kauffman Foundation shows that jobs created by startups in the United States have a lasting impact on the economy. The report, After Inception: How Enduring is Job Creation for Startups?, notes that when a given group of startups reaches age five, the group's employment level is 80 percent of what it was when it began.
