Kauffman Foundation Joins Singularity University As Corporate Founder
The Kauffman Foundation joins Google, Autodesk and ePlanet Ventures as a supporter of Singularity University (SU), the academic institution with the goal of preparing the next generation of leaders to address "humanity's grand challenges." The partnership between Kauffman and Singularity will leverage the university's programs and Kauffman Foundation research and initiatives to support entrepreneurship and innovation focused on the "grand challenges," such as sustainable water, energy and poverty. founder and CEO of online airline ticket sales company iSeats, says the hardest thing about starting a company was learning all of what he refers to as the "non-core" elements like payroll processing and basic accounting.
