From Bricker to a Billion
-
Razor Suleman, Founder and CEO, I Love Rewards, Inc.
I don't like asking for money. I did it in high school when I asked my parents for $15,000 to buy twenty cases of sports cards from Upper Deck Sports, which I sold the nexty day for $25,000.
And I may do it again in the near future to raise the $5 million I need to launch RazorPoints, a loyalty incentive program for the Internet generation grown from the business I started in Bricker Residence,my dorm at Wilfrid Laurier University, an hour west of Toronto. In the meantime, I paid my parents back, reinvested the profits, and to this day am completely self-financed, and have 100 percent ownership in my business.
