Restoring U.S. Competitiveness: Creating Jobs and Unleashing the Potential of Small Businesses Through Technology and Innovation is the second forum in the series and is scheduled to include: Senator Mary Landrieu, chair of the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship; Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce; Stephen Felice, president of Global Consumer, Small and Medium Business for Dell; Sean Greene, special advisor for innovation at the SBA; and, Jonathan Ortmans, senior fellow at the Kauffman Foundation and president of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The program will explore policies to facilitate small business growth through international trade; discuss how new technologies, such as cloud computing and mobile technology platforms can extend the reach of American companies; and examine regulatory issues that impact job creation and innovation here in the United States.
Restoring U.S. Competitiveness is scheduled for Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center (SVC 203-02) from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
