The U.S. Food and Drug Administration should change its mission to go beyond protecting the public, according to James Greenwood, President and CEO of Biotechnology Industry Organization. He believes the FDA should accelerate innovation and work with those who’ve had failed applications for medical devices.
During this week’s Partnering for Cures meeting in New York City, Greenwood was a panelist at a session on clearing new pathways for progress at the FDA.
