The JOBS Act and the History of Crowdfunding

Mark Marich

Earlier this year, we followed the progress of the JOBS (Jumpstart Our Business Startups) Act as an example of how business should get done in Washington, DC. A tip of the PDE cap goes out to Innovation America and Venture Beat for spotting a new infographic from Fundable that attempts to explain the JOBS Act and crowdfunding. Fundable, a startup focused on helping other startups acquire capital by crowdfunding, takes a look at the key provisions of the legislation, typical sources of funding and even some interesting milestones in the history of crowdfunding.
