Welcome to the New Entrepreneurship.org
Thom Ruhe, Director of Entrepreneurship, The Kauffman Foundation
We are very excited to roll out the new and improved Entrepreneurship.org this week. Not only does the new website have a new look, it also has many innovative features to help you during every stage of the entrepreneurial process.
New Website Features
Some of the new features added to the site include an expanded Resource Center which allows users to rate and comment on materials posted by the community. This rating feature will help advance vital reference materials to the top, so users can quickly access the best resources available. Visitors will also benefit from the comment portion of the resource center, which allows users to voice their opinions; noting how helpful the content was for their particular situation or business.
Another new feature of the website is the Sandbox. Currently in beta, the Sandbox allows users to get their hands a little dirty as they dive in and test new tools, content and websites submitted by the entrepreneurial community. Once tested, users can share their feedback regarding the materials nominated. If a submission lasts in the sandbox it will graduate to Entrepreneurship.org’s official resource collection.
Also new to the website is E360TV – the designated video channel for entrepreneurship. E360TV will feature content focused on important topics that are impacting the world of entrepreneurship as we know. This section will also include a variety of interviews from individuals that are making a difference in entrepreneurship including policy makers, investors, mentors, researchers and educators.
Focused on the ever-changing entrepreneurial world, the Policy section of the site will help keep users informed on current and proposed policies, as well as educate policy makers on entrepreneurship. Not only will this section help inform users on current entrepreneurial affairs, it will also help empower individuals while helping to grow economies.
We hope you enjoy the new Entrepreneurship.org; we look forward to seeing your interactions and feedback.
